I've lived with #tourettes for 22 years now and I am getting really sick of some people's behaviors. ESPECIALLY some of those who are also disabled. . It's all love and acceptance until its not. Until I have tics that make people uncomfortable to the point of them wanting to spread nasty things about me. . #tourettesyndrome is an uncontrollable neurological disorder, and I would think that would be well understood in the disability community. . #disabilitytiktok #mylife #rant #vent #disability #tics

Tourettes is REALLY, REALLY scary sometimes... I was alright at first and then I got so nervous and my tics EXPLODED. It was so scary i genuinely thought id get arrested. I was so terrified. The Paralysis Resource Center (PRC) is in great danger of having it's funding entirely cut. . In an internal administrative letter that was recently made public, the budget cuts that are being proposed will SUBSTANTIALLY effect healthcare in the US. One of these cuts is the entire $10.7 million that supports the PRC. . The PRC has helped, and will continue to help all of those affected by Paralysis, and further research into so many programs, treatments, and ways to improve the lives of those living with paralysis. . HOW CAN WE, THE PEOPLE, HELP??? . There is a letter being circulated within the House of Representatives by Brian Fitzpatrick and Nikema Williams that is URGING FULL FUNDING FOR THE PRC FOR THE FISCAL YEAR OF 2026. . What we can do, with our multiple voices, is to urge our state representatives to sign into this letter in support of funding the PRC. .
