Honestly going in I had the lowest expectations of this slime, and can you believe it out all the other slimes I have bought in the works so far, this is the only one I would reccomend. You will need glycerine but that so kawaii brand that most of the slimes are made by in there are shocking but this one is amazing in comparison. Still not the best slime in the world but for £1 and with a teaspoon of glycerine it’s great. Let’s Review The Best Slime I Have Tried From @The Works So Far and it was only £1. It definetly does need some glycerine to reach its full potential but it isn’t too terrible as a putty either. I have actually being playing with this a bunch since I got it too so yea if you have Glycerine, any glycerine will do it’s worth picking up. Let’s Open Up and Review all 4 of the new £1 Putty’s I found in Poundland. We have A Glow In the Dark, Metalic Space, Raspberry Ripple and Boba Tea. I found them in my local store in Pool, Between Redruth & Camborne here in Cornwall last week. These aren’t your regular tinned putty’s they’re more live overactivated clear slime, but non the less they’re ok as putty’s. One of mine did leak, and the tin was all rusty so I’m not so sure these metal tins are the best packaging as if these are made with PVA glue, (which I’m 99% sure they are) they are water based and they will rust over time. None the less they’re all come with really cute add ins. The sprinkles are the highlight for me and I chose not to mix them in and keep them for when I make slime because I thought they were really cute. The amount of putty is shocking, however for £1 they still work out cheap compared to other putty brands. If you’re looking for slime I would give them a miss but if you like putty give them a go. Replying to @LKSlime - Let’s test out this £5 slime kit from the works that contains the £1 Slime activator that I have been getting asked a bunch to review. You get a lot of glue and activator in this kit, plus 3 super pigmented colours and 3 wooden stirrers. The glue in this kit is thick but gloopy, I dunno it’s weird but even when fully activated it’s sticky but rippy. If you would like me to test the activator with my normal really good clear glue to properly review it let me know. This kit is fine, especially if you’re struggling getting activator anywhere, but there are better options out there. But for £5 you can’t complain. For anyone wondering I found this in the Camborne Store In Cornwall, but you can also find all of these online too. Let’s review this pot of Kenetif sand by the Sensory FX brand. I found it in Tesco on offer for £2 so figured even though it’s not slime it’s kind of in the same sensory catagory. First of all they say that it come a with 6 items….. 2 of those things being the pot and then the lid which is wild to me…. Maybe that’s how I should start advertising slime saying you get 3 things, the slime the pot and the lid. But then to top it off the sand is so dry and crusty….. you need to feel it to know what I mean. It’s honestly the worst quality kenetif sand I have ever felt in my life. This had so much potential, and maybe the tools still wouldn’t work great with a decent kinetic sand… but the fact they still don’t work and the sand is bad I would just say avoid. Replying to @Chloe - Let’s go on a zero budget slime shopping trip in The Works. I have been getting so many requests recently to do a video on the £1 slime activator, how ever it was sold out in this store, but I might look online or check another store this week. Anyway despite not finding the activator, I did find sooo many different slimes and slime making kits for super cheap, I got a lot of stuff here for only £24 with all items priced between £1 and £5 each, I’m sure @The Works never had this amount of selection before. I also had someone a couple months ago ask me to go to the works in Camborne here in Cornwall too, so I was able to combine that with this trip too. I haven’t been to the Camborne Store for years but It was actually nice in there I much prefer it to the Truro one despite being slightly smaller. Although this was just clay pretty much and a little on the dry side this is miles better then everything else I have gotten in there. Plus it comes with the cutest, Hello Kitty, kuroppi, Pom Pom Purin and Cinnamaroll Charms. The colours are pretty, although the do mix to a caramel brown. I do reccomend adding either, glycerine, lotion or something like soap or shampoo into the clay to soften it, but you could also mix this into your own home made glossy slimes to make. Really nice butter slime. Let me know your opinions down below. I hope you’re all having a lovely weekend. And I will be back tomorrow with my final slime from the works.
