(PLEASE READ) • Salem is severely animal aggressive. So when he’s in places that we could come in contact with an off leash dog or a lot of animals in general. He’s muzzled for the safety of other animals and himself! We do training sessions at home where we practice him muzzling up on command & just wearing it for a few mins to keep him comfortable & happy in it. After so much work, Salem is neutral when he sees other animals. He no longer barks, lunges or growls at them. So we don’t use the muzzle much anymore. However, SO many owners are irresponsible and allow their animals to run freely without them being trained. So the muzzle just keeps everyone safe in those kinds of settings. Also, I am a firm believer in muzzle training all dogs just incase of an emergency.
