Replying to @holding__rivers People are trying to vault #abstraining for decades, but in all honesty it's beyond me that people think of #abs any differently than any other muscle. Why aren't you simply just dieting to reveal your biceps or chest then? They're already there right? Oh, you're trying to grow them? Guess what!? You can grow your abs too. Clearly not as big as some other much larger muscle groups due to smaller cross-sectional area they cover, but they can certainly become more developed, deeper, more separated and get that pop to them. Yes, same principles that are applied to other muscles are applied to abs too. You should train them like any other muscle with an emphasis on sufficient intensity and progressive overload. And YES you should train abs during bulk too because that's when a good chunk of hypertrophy adaptation occurs.
