NEWS : Among the 242 passengers and crew members onboard the flight that crashed near Ahmedabad airport, Ramesh Vishwaskumar Bucharvada miraculously survived what authorities had initially believed to be a fatal crash for all onboard. Seated on 11A, Ramesh is believed to have jumped from the Emergency Exit before it was completely engulfed in flames. According to Ahmedabad Police Commissioner GS Malik, the discovery of the lone survivor came during emergency response efforts at the crash site. “The police found one survivor in seat 11A. One survivor has been found in the hospital and is under treatment,” Malik confirmed, adding that while the exact death toll is still being verified, the plane had tragically crashed into a nearby residential area, raising concerns of collateral damage.
