BOLD TONES.. WE LOVE IT 🔥 Colour is called Epoch Paint, Graham & Brown Resistance ultra durable emulsion. Really nice paint to use tbf, first time I’ve used this, opacity was good looks like it’s drying back really nice. FIRST TIME TRYING THE DULUX TRADE UNI PRIMER.. I see it being tried so we had to give it ago ourselves, I gotta say I was quite impressed, the opacity the finish smooth application it seems to do exactly what I’d expect from a primer. #paint #paintwarrior #painting #decor #fyp

NEVER EVEN KNEW THIS EXISTED 🤯 Our client provided this pre cut coving it comes with internal and external cut corners, it’s possible the easiest thing I’ve ever put up, never come with any adhesive so we used the More seal by CTEC basically CT1 baby bother but still on steroids 🔥 The coving is super lightweight it didn’t really need any support but then again the adhesive we used really did grab it well, you do your corners first then just butt up the ends to join it we did apply adhesive to the ends to hold it in place then fine filled over that once set in about a hour. The whole job about a hour to do if that 🤯 and it makes a HUGE difference to the finish can’t wait to get it all painted now.

CONTRACT MATT IS DEAD 💀 FOR MISTCOATS, NO..?? Honestly I think the majority of jobs I’ve been on where the paint has failed is new builds or reskimmed walls where they use a contract Matt on the plaster and when we go in to put colour on the walls we tend to take it right back to the plaster because it just hasn’t adhered properly! Can new build contractors just not use an appropriate material now? Obviously the buyers of these houses are NOT gonna keep it white forever so why not give em a solid foundation for the future redec’s they’re gonna do.! Optiva primer is a great product for new plaster and even previously painted areas for a base coat mixed in a colour to help coverage and even better adhesion, I feel some people use contract Matt coz it’s slightly cheaper, I would understand where your coming from but ultimately YOU DONT PAY FOR THE PAINT 😂 im sure your clients would appreciate a propa job over a small 10 - 20£ difference.. #paint #painter #paintwarrior #tip

THE INN COLOURS 😮‍💨 I ALSO LEARNED SOMETHING NEW 👇🏽 Using Caparol Amphibiolin paint, I know caparol have some awsome paint products but I didn’t realise that the Amphibiolin paint was ( bare with me ) • self priming • anti mould • interior • exterior • 7% sheen level • multi surface 🤯 👇🏽 metals wood plaster concrete composite ( Basically everything ) if I had learned that before I’d have painted the plug sockets in aswell! every days a school day! THE COLOUR IS.. a caparol colour called ROSE 70 the end was slightly damp still but I was liking what I saw with regards to the finish 🔥 we’re happy to be back painting 💪🏽 #paint #paintwarrior #painting #asmr
