As of today, it will be a year & a half of actively choosing to remain celibate in order to work on myself and I can honestly say I’ve never been happier. I notice a glow in myself that I never have before. If any of you are like me, your home life lacked emotional support and when you grew up you looked for love in romantic relationships. I never found it until now & I’m finding it in my relationship with God and learning to truly love myself. It’s a journey and I still have a long way to go, but looking at old photos of me when I was in relationships vs now, I see a stark difference. Before, I see a girl desperate to find love and validation from her partner and in things of this world. She was always left empty and sad. Now, I see a vibrant girl who is growing her business, focused on herself and learning so much about what she truly deserves. If I can do it, you can too.
