Roman recovered from his seizure and will be worked-up with a neurologist and potentially have an MRI to help detect brain abnormalities, such as tumors, lesions, or structural issues that may be causing them. While many veterinarians may suggest waiting to see if more seizures occur before recommending advanced diagnostics, some owners prefer the peace of mind that comes with a more thorough examination, especially if they are concerned about underlying issues like brain tumors or other structural problems. #drtom #veterinariansoftiktok #veterinarian #fyp #dogoftheday #dogsoftiktok #vetlife #vetmed @Clove Shoes

Hey everyone, today I was able to help this flea-infested dog. Fleas can cause severe discomfort for your dog and lead to more serious health issues if left untreated, so it’s important to act quickly. First, start by giving your dog a flea bath using a vet-approved flea shampoo. Be sure to lather thoroughly and leave the shampoo on for the recommended time to kill adult fleas. After rinsing, use a fine-toothed flea comb to remove any remaining fleas and their eggs, especially around the neck, ears, and base of the tail where fleas like to hide. Next, it’s crucial to treat your home environment. Wash all bedding, vacuum carpets, and use flea sprays or treatments to kill eggs and larvae in the environment. Don’t forget to treat other pets in the house as well, as fleas spread quickly. Lastly, consult your vet for a long-term flea prevention plan, which could include monthly topical treatments or oral medications. Fleas are tough, but with a good treatment plan, you can help your dog get relief and prevent future infestations. Failure isn’t the end—it’s a step toward growth. After failing out of vet school, I didn’t give up. I fought harder, trusted the process, and turned setbacks into opportunities. Keep pushing, no matter how tough the journey gets. Your dreams are still within reach. #Perseverance #VetLife #KeepGoing #drtom #veterinarian #veterinariansoftiktok #fyp #dogsoftiktok #dog #dogoftheday
