🇶🇦What was it like as a solo female traveller visiting Qatar?! AD @Visit Qatar #visitqatar ✨It felt super safe - Qatar is one of the safest countries in the world and has been number 1 on the Numbeo Safety Index multiple times. Everyone was friendly - no catcalling, very respectful and I never felt weird going out at night, in fact that’s when a lot of shops and places were open! ✨It was so fun - from dune bashing in the desert to taking a traditional dhow cruise to chilling at Doha Beach Club to digging into culture at the National Museum, I really felt like Qatar had a lot to offer covering different interests. I definitely didn’t do it all in one week but also it was great for a layover🥹🥹🥹 ✨ It was the most diverse place I’ve been to in the Middle East - I felt very welcomed and did not stand out. ✨I had to dress modestly - this is to respect the culture but embrace it! There’s a ton of beautiful abayas that you can buy at the souq market😍 ✨I had to be prepared for the weather - the best time to visit Qatar is between November and April when it’s sunny but still cool🌴🍹 I’ll be sharing my itinerary in the next few days so you can plan for your trip! Stay tuned - is Qatar on your travel list?!
