The All-American Rejects pulled off a wild surprise show in Columbia, Missouri on May 18—right in the middle of a house party near Mizzou. Meet Jet – the newest addition to the Saint Louis Zoo’s elephant family. Born on November 23, 2024, to first-time mom Jade, Jet is the first Asian elephant calf born through artificial insemination at the Zoo. At just five months old, Jet has already grown over 300 pounds, tipping the scale at 578 pounds. He’s a curious and energetic calf, often seen running, playing in the dirt, and climbing over logs. Penguin & Puffin Coast opened in 2003 as the first open-air penguin habitat of its kind in North America. Kept at 50°F year-round, it features rocky cliffs, icy pools, and specialized lighting to mimic wild conditions.
