Had to repost because some people are seriously lacking common sense. THE BARN IS SAFE. But i have a family, i have other pets and this is 1 barn of 3 on my whole property. We checked them before bed time. They are all safe , no flooding for those asking, we built our barns on high ground. They have tons of hay and water. Lots if bedding. BARN IS BUILT HURRICANE SAFE TO A CAT 4 and we are in OCALA. Its so sickening i have to repost this due to people not readint between the lines and thinking before their comments. NO I DO NOT LET MY HORSES GO. If i was thinking we would get to thay point i would evacuate. Not to mention we are in a gated equestrian community. Not middle of no where. Send your prayers, and ill send mine to you if you are enduring this. Leave your “if its not safe for you but is for them???😅😅” comments tk yourself . Like i said its not safe any longer to keep with more checks til morning. Half the people in ocala evacuated and oeft horses behind. Be mad at them . Not those creating a safety. The amount of support on my last video of this horse was amazing. I thank you all for following my journey and the horses i own/ come across/ work with etc. no he is not making a career change and no we cant just take him to q dressage show or local h/j show or trail. He first needs to walk/trot/canter again with rider and not be so worried . This was definitely a horse that was atheltic and all the steps were skipped when breaking him out. So we are just re-breaking him under positive training. He wanta to please and wants to jump. But we want him to love all aspects of being a good partner to my friend. And we want them safe! Great lesson from Joachim today 🤩 its very very hard to change a horse thats been this way for years… but the sooner i meet him in the middle of how he wants to be ridden our partnership will be stronger.
